By purchasing an item advertised on this website and/or subscribing to our newsletter you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

boxofgoodies.com.au may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any amendment will become effective immediately. Your continued use of this website after amendment constitutes an agreement to abide by and be bound by those amended Terms and Conditions.

All material on this site, including, but not limited to images, logos and illustrations, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights which are owned and controlled by boxofgoodies.com.au and its related companies and suppliers. The content of boxofgoodies.com.au is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Such material may not be copied, republished, reproduced, uploaded, modified, transmitted, posted, or distributed in any way without the consent of boxofgoodies.com.au. If you want to use something, please ask us. We don't bite.

The use of this website and these conditions is in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any legal action arising out of its use shall be brought and enforced under Australian laws. By using this site, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and any legal action pursued by you shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Delivery

We deliver Melbourne-wide. Delivery takes place between 10am to 5pm on the day selected. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery. The delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and will be itemised at check-out.

boxofgoodies.com.au recommends you send to a business address if there is a chance the recipient will not be home. boxofgoodies.com.au requests that the recipient be available to receive the delivery on the day of delivery. If no one is available to accept the delivery, then the box will be left outside the addressed residence if safe to leave. A photograph of the delivered items will be provided to boxofgoodies.com.au by our courier company and kept for our records.

Unattended Deliveries

Due to the volume of deliveries, boxofgoodies.com.au and it's agents are not always in a position to contact gift-recipients and/or other parties by phone if/when the requested delivery location is unattended to obtain further delivery instructions. It is important the customer provides clear and accurate delivery instructions when placing their order.

boxofgoodies.com.au retains records for proof of delivery, and remains exempt from any liability or responsibility for loss or damage arising as a result of parcels being left safely and securely at unattended premises and/or due to an incident arising from 'returned, melted, infested or undelivered' products.

Wrong Address

Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect or include insufficient details, boxofgoodies.com.au cannot accept any responsibility for any loss experienced. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order.

Should we become aware of an incorrect address during delivery, the sender will be contacted for further instructions. Should the box remain undeliverable, it will be returned to boxofgoodies.com.au. The sender may nominate a new delivery date and a new address and will be charged a redelivery fee.

Re-delivery on the same day cannot always be guaranteed. In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, the sender is responsible to nominate a new delivery date and pay the redelivery fee.

In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, boxofgoodies.com.au will do our very best to make sure the box is in the original despatch condition for the redelivery.

Delivery Schedule

Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the above delivery schedule, we use external couriers for all our deliveries, and occasionally situations arise which are outside our control. These can result in delays to the above quoted delivery times. We cannot accept responsibility for these events but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your gifts arrive on time.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled by the sender up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Orders that have already been delivered or which are in transit cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Cancellation of orders incurs a $15.00 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed less this fee. If a cancellation notice is received with less than 24 hours notice - the cancellation will not be processed. A cancellation request must be sent in writing by email to support@boxofgoodies.com.au 24 hours ahead of delivery to receive your refund.

Orders cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery, but we will work with you to change delivery address, or allow pickup. In the event that the receiver is not home and the order is unable to be delivered, the sender will be charged a redelivery fee. This fee is set by our courier company and in almost all cases will be equal to the original delivery fee.

We do not offer refunds via cash under any circumstances. All refunds will be returned to the original payment option and will be processed within twenty four hours.

We do not offer refunds simply for change of mind. If you receive an item in a box that you believe is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose please contact us so we can resolve the issue for you. Our refund policy is governed by Australian consumer law and we abide by the law in all instances.

Product

Product design, colours and flavours may vary from images supplied on our website by discretion of boxofgoodies.com.au. We only publish items for sale that we have on hand, so a switch of a product would only occur in extreme circumstance and we would contact the sender before dispatch.

Liquor Information

Any alcohol included, or added into our gift boxes is designed to be delivered as a genuine gift to a person and never exceeds 1.5 litres. The gift is packaged and presented in such a manner that it is taken to be a gift. The gift can only be delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser. For all gifts with alcohol included, please ensure that the recipient is aged over 18 years and is available to receive the delivery. Box of Goodies does not deliver alcohol to recipients under the age of 18 years, nor do we accept orders for delivery from anyone under 18 years of age. Australian law is very strict on the sale of alcohol to minors and we abide by the law in all instances. Our courier WILL request identification if there is any doubt about the age of the gift recipient, or the receiver of the goods.
